It could use more contrast, the colors used for shading are too close in hue and brightness to the base colors, and the red areas look pillow-shaded. It's otherwise very cute.

Yes ^_^ is is, one of my favorite games growing up. I am not very proud of this sprite now, so many of the colours dont blend in nicely and is not easy to look at, I do have a major problem with pillow shading pixels as well. Maybe I will redo this one day.

Yeah, it was a stylistic choice at the time to go with the flatter, originally paper-craft inspired vibe I was going for, but it just ended up looking at bit wonky by the end. Thanks!
